What is Carna Life?

An analytical telemedicine system

The Carna Life analytical telemedicine system is an innovative tool that patients can easily use to record their tests and doctors can use to interpret them. Data analysis is assisted by smart algorithms responsible for interpreting and prioritizing the results if the examination requires intervention by a medical specialist.

The system operates on Windows 10, Android and iOS. This enables nearly every user to benefit from this solution regardless of the device. Carna Life is a modular system, and thus it does not require installation of the entire solution. Significantly, it operates on the cloud, and the data recorded are not only encrypted but also secured against theft.

The application functions both online and offline (review of data). In this manner the doctor can check the readings from anywhere on earth, and patients can similarly submit their test results for medical consultation.

After confirmation by a specialist, every value measured and identified by our algorithms can be presented graphically in the form of charts or tables.

As new data arrive, our statistics become increasingly complete and the charts become more thorough, making the specialists’ work more convenient. It takes just a glance for the doctor to make a diagnosis.

All of this, together with the patient’s details, means that the test reports created using Carna Life are professionally prepared documentation.

Available options

The Carna Life analytical telemedicine system can be divided into three main modules: LITE, PRO and SYSTEM. There are two more modules supporting each of the other three: HOLO and SERVER.

Carna Life Lite

Tests that can be recorded in this application:

  • Cardiotocography (CTG)
  • Dermatological testing

Using this module, patients can track changes in their results, obtain reports from doctors and transmit tests to them for interpretation. Thus the user can continually monitor such items as blood sugar level, blood pressure, fever or hypothermia, atrial fibrillation, tachycardia, and cardiac arrhythmia.

Carna Life Pro, Carna Life System

The main application of these modules is cardiological diagnostics. The other main function is the possibility of verifying patients’ test results in nearly real time. This allows doctors to continually diagnose patients and monitor the state of their diabetes, high blood pressure, fever or hypothermia, atrial fibrillation, tachycardia or cardiac arrhythmia. The apps generate alarms in the case of life-threatening events.

A feature distinguishing the Carna Life System from Carna Life Pro is the possibility of managing users of the system and institutions. This allows the system administrator to assign patients and doctors to specific locations or branches within a medical facility.

Carna Life Holo

The main application of this module is radiography and surgery. Carna Life Holo helps visualize scans of CT tests, magnetic resonance, or echocardiogram in 3D. The options available to the medical specialist include, for example, rotating the scanned organ or looking inside it prior to the operation, which enables better preparation for the operation and reduces the duration of the operation. The application functions best in HoloLens glasses from Microsoft, enabling viewing of renderings in augmented reality.

Carna Life Server

This is a cloud application installed on an Azure server operating 24/7, responsible for archiving of medical data, patient data, analysis and interpretation of tests from biomedical equipment and those introduced manually by patients or doctors. It receives tests transmitted by devices equipped with WiFi or GSM.
